Alain Valtat was born in Paris in 1943. As with all Fine Artists he has dedicated his life to his work. He looks for "the image under all forms". Valtat was a war reporter, working through the media of photography. radio and television. In 1974 he decided to leave the field of corresponding as he had seen "too much violence".

Movie director, editor, artistic director, Valtat returned to Paris after a stay in the USA. During his time in California he studied Urban Art and developed a new approach to image. Consequently he created a collection of silkscreen prints, images of contemporary America from "Stardust memories to Andy Warhol".
